✨ How to Join TheRenewal.Earth Minecraft Server

Server IP: therenewal.earth

  • Java Port: 25565
  • Bedrock Port: 19132

Welcome to TheRenewal! This guide walks you through how to connect from any system — whether you’re on Java, Bedrock, or console.

ℹ️ Note: While you can connect from Bedrock platforms, you’ll still need a Minecraft Java Edition account to access the server.

🖥️ PC (Java & Bedrock Editions)

Java Edition

  1. Open the Minecraft Launcher (Java Edition).

  2. Click “Multiplayer”.

  3. Click “Add Server”.

  4. Enter:

    • Server Name: TheRenewal
    • Server Address: therenewal.earth:25565

  5. Click “Done”, then select the server and click “Join Server”.

Bedrock Edition (Windows 10/11)

  1. Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

  2. Click “Play”, then go to the “Servers” tab.

  3. Scroll to the bottom and click “Add Server”.

  4. Enter:

    • Server Name: TheRenewal
    • Server Address: therenewal.earth
    • Port: 19132

  5. Click “Save”, then click “Join Server”.

🌟 Nintendo Switch

Use the DNS Method with BedrockConnect:

  1. Go to System Settings > Internet > Internet Settings.

  2. Select your active connection and click Change Settings.

  3. Set Primary DNS to: 104.238.130.180

  4. Set Secondary DNS to: 8.8.8.8

  5. Save and connect.

  6. Launch Minecraft and join any Featured Server.

  7. You’ll be redirected to the BedrockConnect server list.

  8. Enter:

    • IP: therenewal.earth
    • Port: 19132

🌿 PlayStation (PS4/PS5)

Use the DNS Method with BedrockConnect:

  1. Go to Settings > Network > Set Up Internet Connection.

  2. Choose your network and select Custom.

  3. Keep settings default until DNS Settings.

  4. Set Primary DNS to: 45.55.68.52

  5. Set Secondary DNS to: 8.8.8.8

  6. Complete the setup and test connection.

  7. Launch Minecraft and join any Featured Server.

  8. You’ll be redirected to the BedrockConnect server list.

  9. Enter:

    • IP: therenewal.earth
    • Port: 19132

🍌 Xbox Series X|S / Xbox One

Use the DNS Method with BedrockConnect:

  1. Go to Settings > Network Settings > Advanced Settings > DNS Settings.

  2. Set DNS to Manual.

  3. Primary DNS: 104.238.130.180

  4. Secondary DNS: 8.8.8.8

  5. Save settings.

  6. Launch Minecraft and join a Featured Server.

  7. You’ll be redirected to BedrockConnect.

  8. Enter:

    • IP: therenewal.earth
    • Port: 19132

📱 Pocket Edition (Mobile)

Use the BedrockTogether app (iOS & Android):

  1. Download BedrockTogether from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

  2. Open the app.

  3. Enter:

    • IP: therenewal.earth
    • Port: 19132

  4. Tap “Run Server”.

  5. Open Minecraft and go to the Friends tab.

  6. Select the LAN game called BedrockTogether.

  7. You’ll be redirected to a server list. Select TheRenewal to connect.

Alternative Method for Xbox & Switch (MCXboxBroadcast)

  1. On your System, add the account: https://www.xbox.com/en-CA/play/user/TheRenewal

  2. Open Minecraft > Friends tab.

  3. Select “Find Cross-Platform Friends”.

  4. Return to main menu and wait ~20 seconds.

  5. Return to the Friends tab.

  6. Join your friend TheRenewal

⚠️ Troubleshooting Connection Issues

Having trouble joining the server? Don’t worry — here are some quick fixes and tips to help you get connected.

🔌 General Connection Problems

  • “Invalid IP” or “Connection Error”

    • Double-check the server address:

      • therenewal.earth:25565 for Java Edition
      • therenewal.earth port 19132 for Bedrock Edition (Geyser-compatible)

    • Ensure your internet connection is stable.

    • Make sure your firewall, antivirus, or parental controls aren’t blocking Minecraft.

    • Restart your device.

    • Not whitelisted? Let your instructor know, everyone will be added to the whitelist together at the start of the session.

📱 Bedrock Edition (via Geyser)

  • Chunks not loading

    • Set your render distance to 9 or lower in settings.
    • Restart your game after adjusting render distance.

  • Joining community server instead of therenewal.earth

    • Double check DNS configuration
    • Restart your system

💻 Java Edition

No major issues currently reported.
